John Schmidt — Founder of Vector Male

Schmidt is the author of The Vector Ethos — the foundational system that evolved into Vector Male’s practical philosophy. In addition, Schmidt is a current 20 plus year Law Enforcement Officer in Florida who started his career in Connecticut.  Schmidt is also the owner and founder of Rad Palm, a lifestyle and apparel brand known for bold, tropical-inspired designs.

Vector Male began as a solution to a problem I created for myself.

There was a time when I stopped moving — both physically and mentally. I drifted out of rhythm and mistook stillness for peace. In reality, I was stalled.

Rebuilding my motion — regaining my fitness, focus, and direction — became a personal mission. I started analyzing why I lost it, and how to rebuild it with structure instead of impulse.

That process became a framework. That framework evolved into a system.
That system became The Vector Ethos — a method for restoring motion, control, and direction when life goes static.

Out of that came Vector Male — the practical, field-ready version of that philosophy, built for men who want to live it daily.

It’s not theory. It’s the mindset that got me moving again — and now, it’s how I help other men do the same.
